phone lock and cameras

even though I have a pin to unlock my phone, you can still get to the camera without entering the code. the little man learned that. here are some wonderful photographs that I discovered. keep on mind - there are about a half dozen of each picture.

predictability and aerosmith

it's no secret that I like to sing. especially along with the radio in the car. we were out running errands yesterday. daddy was driving, and I was knitting (of course). I've been feverishly working on a blankie for the upcoming goods and services auction at church as seen here:

daddy and I were talking about things and little guy was chatting away in the backseat.

I wasn't totally paying attention to the radio. all of a sudden, daddy looks at me and goes "this is where you usually rock the ballad and start shaking your fist. every time." I stopped knitting, looked at him and realized "I don't want to miss a thing" was on, and I normally ROCK that. then i laughed to tears thinking, he was exactly right. i do that every time. man, knitting really does clear my head!

right now, August's oooo sound comes out like eeewww.
so, Winnie the Pooh comes out "inee da pew" or he'll just say "pew". cracks me up.

caring

a few weeks ago, I cut my finger while I was making dinner. I told August to wait downstairs and play while I went upstairs to fix my ouchie.

I went up did the hydrogen peroxide/antibiotic ointment/bandage thing.

when I came back downstairs, August held my hand and pulled me toward the kitchen and said "mommy, open da fijerader peez" so I opened it, and he got his Cookie Monster boo-boo buddy cold pack off the shelf and handed it to me and said "here mommy, it feel better".
