adjustments

mr c. started a new job yesterday. he's back in landscaping and on first shift! so we'll see how we both adjust to the new schedule.

he punched in at 7:15am and he was super busy and didn’t get home til 6:30pm or there bouts. had plenty to say about the people he was working with – good, bad, indifferent. it’s just a bunch of foremen, techs and crew doing all of the spring cleanups. he was a little disconcerted by how disorganized it was, but i don’t think that’ll be normal working conditions. he doesn’t know yet who his team will be for the main season, but I’m sure they’ll be finding that out soon. to quote him “it can only get better from here”.

the puppies definitely weren’t used to the isolation all day. ginger pulled her tarp in – her signal that she’s not amused. hazel’s bed was in the middle of the floor, her blanket was way over on the other side of the kitchen – she also tore apart a toy…there was poly stuffing everywhere.

we went and had moe’s southwest grill for dinner, then stopped by sam’s club to get my ensure shakes…$100 later we walked out with shakes, garbage bags, another box of diapers, water, fiber one bars and paper towels.
