Mr C mows the lawn at my parent's house. the lawnmower was having some issues - he had to take some stuff apart and put it back together. so we were there a lot longer than we intended to be.
here's the little guy in the grass:
9 month check up:
weight - 22 pounds 12 ounces (80th %)
height - 29 and 1/4 inches (78th %)
head - 47 centimeters (85th %)
doing great! doctor very pleased with his verbal development - highly recommending learning sign language. just keep doing what we're doing with feeding adding some more yogurt, cheese, meats and grains is fine. he is a very active, happy, inquisitive little guy.
...or not.
he was not a fan of having to take the time to chew his banana chunks. his tummy is very hungry!
this is how I found the little guy in his crib this morning / loving life!
while my mom was at her high school reunion, the little guy and I hung around the hotel. I'd say the little guy was much more active and involved this trip than the one we took when he was 4 weeks old.
here we are at the hotel restaurant for dinner.
on saturday we went and had brunch with my mom's best friend from high school and her husband. they live WAY in the country on a farm. you even have to drive on dirt roads to get there.
friday night we had dinner at buck (uncle glen's son) and teri's house. it was delicious. because of the lack of afternoon nap - the little guy wasn't his normal self, but did pretty well overall.
he had a pretty terrible blowout - that sucked. before I knew that had happened, I was gonna change his outfit real quick in the dining room because he spit up a little on his shorts when he gagged on his cereal... but then I saw his back, and luckily we moved to another room - the others were thankful of that.
we really enjoy their company and their sweet doggies. little guy giggle quite a bit when he was being greeted by ella(a cosmopolitan mastiff) and nika(a boxer).
I was terrible and didn't get any videos or pictures while we were there.
Friday was aunt arlene's 61st birthday. we went to visit her. here are some moments from that visit.
Nancy has all kinds of fun stuff! and a very fun doggy named Maggie. yes in the bottom video -that is a bedpan in the background - but its only for decoration I promise.
we had lunch at aunt inez' house on Thursday. she had a metal tractor for the little guy to play with and that was a big hit. I forgot to get video of that.
we stayed at uncle glen's on Wednesday night. thursday morning, we were checking out stuff outside.
