it was night and day week at daycare. Thursday was pajama day. of course, little guy participated! he wore his dinos riding bicycles jammies and brought his sweetie pie cow plushie along.

the pasta mix was ok, but the chicken sausage was delicious!

in the midst of tickling, little guy decided he was going to try to escape using the doggy stairs.

thanks to grandma g's craftiness, the little guy is now traveling in style. she made this shopping cart cover for him.

I was holding the little guy and he leaned in and blew a raspberry on my cheek. so precious.

pull ups

no. not potty training pants. this little guy is pulling up in his crib. he's really getting strong!

mama & daddy

little guy has been having a rough few days. I think it's a whole bunch of things all at once. I'm guessing some separation anxiety, growth spurt & growing pains, and more teeth - basically he's needing lots of loving and cuddles.

we were over at mr. c's folks' house last week and he was hanging out in his exersaucer and he said "mama" clear as day. I know he doesn't really associate it with me yet, but it was really sweet to hear.

like most babies he's been saying "dada" for quite a while now, but last week and a half or so he's been whispering "daddy". it's super cute when he whispers. I've had a hard time trying to get that on camera.

it'll be music to our ears when he actually calls for us.

I think we might pass crawling altogether, here's the little guy test driving one of the toys that daycare gave to him for Christmas.

at daycare they have what looks like a little mini ballet bar, it's a rail in front of a mirror at just the right height for little ones that are starting to pull up on things and for practicing standing. I guess he loves hanging around on that.
