and baby makes five.
I started this hat yesterday. I'm loving it. I'm making it with my yarn that I use for testing a pattern instead of wrecking the expensive yarn. I just use the "one pound" yarn from Jo-Ann's. at this point I don't even know the details of it anymore. I just have a TON of it, so I use it.

I didn't take a picture - but it looked like chicken. I didn't want to spend a year on dinner since its just the little guy and me tonight. so I found some frozen chicken tenderloins. I put the oven at 375F. in my FABULOUS pampered chef stoneware small bar pan, I put the frozen chicken. on each tenderloin I put a little chunk of butter (prolly 1/4T each), a squiggle squeeze of Dijon mustard, a healthy grind of the poultry seasoning grinder from Aldi, a sprinkled of crunchy onions, and of course salt and pepper. baked that for 25 minutes. yum. Delish!

it worked! little guy napped at grandpa's all week. in other news, he napped for 2 hours and 20 minutes today at daycare. they had to wake him up. I think there may or may not be some growing happening.

since hazel demolishes any toy we get for her or ginger, we only buy toys on clearance. a recent purchase was a snake with like 7 squeekers, and a tail rattle. the squeekers have all been removed. the other night, little guy pointed at it and said "nake, owies." I asked him how the snake got the owies. he said "ayz-ah, jin-jah, bite dat." yup. that's about right.

little guy loves looking at the pictures on the digital camera. he figured out how to turn it on and go through them and everything. he also figured out the toggle that turns it to camera mode. tonight he was going around to everything while looking at the camera screen. "momma, cheese!", "fow-ers, cheese!", "gin-gee, cheese!".
