I drive past a small airport on the way home. across the street there're a few hotels. one of them had a sign out front stating "lounge now open: hours 3pm - close".
isn't that the point of posting hours so that one would know when close would be?

time-out
happy 1st birthday hazel!
hazel had to go in time-out yesterday because she was being a big jealous sassy. both of them were chewing on rawhides. hazel devoured hers and figured she was entitled to ginger's. the video shows hazel's reaction to mr. c trying to keep her away from ginger. she kept carrying on, so she got locked in the kitchen until she settled down. but of course as soon as we let her back out, she went straight for ginger and stole the rawhide.

yucky
so I've been feeling pretty yucky since Thursday, and went to the dr yesterday. have a lovely sinus infection with wheezing and coughing. got amoxicillin and an albuterol inhaler to help knock it out. hopefully I feel back to my "normal" self soon.

mystery lilies
there isn't much landscaping to speak of at our house yet, but these lilies existed from the previous owners and just started blooming the last few weeks:

3rd trimester
ok - i downloaded a blogging app on my phone, so i will actually be on here more!
so. tuesday was the first day of the 3rd trimester. i got sick a couple of times at work and felt pretty yucky most of the day. to top that all off i had a pretty weird dream.
i was at a routine dr's check-up, and the nurse and dr came in with a big tray. the dr told me they had some demerol, an epidural needle and some other stuff so could see what it would be like for the real thing. so she told me to go on my tummy, then without any warning she shoved the needle in my back. i yelled "that's enough!" and i woke up with tears streaming down my face. can't wait to have more of that kind of dream...
