ok. I'm a horrible person. daddy's aunt Millie does really cool embroidery. jr has some really sweet things from her. one that I said I would take pictures of MONTHS ago is this cute bib with doxies on it. here are some attempts to get the girls and jr with the bib. thanks aunt Millie!
jr got to ride on his daddy and aunt's rocking horse. he had a blast when he got the hang of it.
we had a very nice visit at my sister-in-law's place today. we're continually praying for her comfort.
jr had a great time playing until he went into full on meltdown mode over a sharing incident. notice any family resemblance?

the pictures on the left are from June of last year - I know it's not quite a year, but I'm down .2 lbs shy of 28 pounds. this past weekend, I was able to put on a pair of Eddie Bauer jeans (my favorite) in a size 16. I haven't been able to wear those since I graduated college/started my big kid job 5 1/2 years ago. that's crazy awesome! I'm wearing them in the pictures on the right.
daddy brought this home from a recent trek in the woods. it's now hanging on our garage.
18-month stats:
height: 33in (77th percentile)
weight: 28lbs (71st percentile) doing great just like a big boy should be! he sat very nice on the table and let the doctor check in his ears and eyes and nose. didnt love her looking in his mouth so much.
